Hello! 

My name is Devin Harris and I am very happy to introduce myself as your child’s music teacher! I am beyond thrilled to be working at East Garner Elementary School and am so excited for the musical moments your children will be making in my classroom this year. 

About me…

I'm originally from East Tennessee and recently moved to North Carolina with my wife Natalie! Before East Garner, I worked as a Music Teacher at Lake Ridge Elementary School in Johnson City, TN. I hold a music education degree from Tennessee Tech University where I studied as a percussionist. I was also a member of the Music City Drum and Bugle Corps!  Music has always been a huge passion of mine and I am so happy that I'm able to to share that passion as a teacher. When I’m not teaching or playing music, you may find me out on the lake, riding my bike, or spending time at home with my wife Natalie and our cat Patches. If you ever see us out and about please be sure to say hello!
